Yes indeed the Catholic church produced our bible in the 4th century. Poe St. Damasus entrusted St. Jerome to translate the Old testament from Hebrew to Latin and the New Testament from Greek to latin. St. Jerome being well verse both in Hebrew and greek languages, translated the the old & New testament into Latin language which was the language of the roman Empire at that time, thereby the early christians have the first bible in Latin which the Church called “The Latin Vulgate” and it became the Catholic Church’s Official Bible for 1500 years before Martin Luther made his infamous protestant Revolt in the 16th century. Now this is a “FACT”.

Thankfully many Evangelicals are opening their hearts to hear the truth and humbly come home to the Catholic Church. They are sincere and not looking simply to attack. The American Bible alone movement has resulted in thousands of groups all man-made splinters born out of the Protestant movement. What a mess Fr. Martin Luther created….I wonder what he thinks now? Bible alone doctrine basically sets anyone up to be their own pope. It’s like a rebellious teenager resisting authority. Everyone claiming to be led by the Holy Spirit…but the Holy Spirit does not have a split personality disorder. I’ll stick with the Catholic Church thanks very much!!!! (Of course praying for those who need to find their way back home).
